Cristiano Piquet started his route to success at age 16, when he debuted in amateur cart racing and won all local tournaments.
Later, he debuted in professional Kart and, by age 19, had already won three of the most important championships in Brazil in the Shifter category (6 gears reaching speeds of 200Km/h).
At only 19 years of age, Cristiano Piquet was also outstanding on rally tracks, driving a GM Chevrolet Corsa and startling the competition with his famous " flights," car jumps at a speed of more than 230 Km/h.
An outstanding driver during three seasons of Kart and Rally in Brazil , Cristiano arrived in Miami , Florida in 2001 to battle for the Formula Dodge title.
During his first year, Cristiano achieved third place in the North American championship, among a field of 129 drivers from around the world (6 different nationalities among the top 10 places).
After more than 40 Formula Dodge races on the best tracks in the United States, with victories on many of them – Daytona ( 3 times), Sebring, ( 5 times), Moroso ( 3 times), Lime Rock ( 2 times), Mid-Ohio ( 2 times), Laguna Seca, among various others – Cristiano was invited to become part of the Lamborghini GTR Project for the American Le Mans, and as the project's official driver, he made the transition from formula cars to sports cars.
Later, Cristiano would go on to test the Maserati V8 competition model (Ferrari Group) and the Dodge Viper V10, among other top-of-the-line cars.
